My most memorable Winthrop experience is spending time in DiGiorgio Campus Center with my friends. This is where we complete assignments together, play games, and hang out.

My favorite Winthrop tradition is Convocation because it made me feel welcome and I was able to meet new incoming students.
I chose Winthrop because…
I chose Winthrop because of its community. The students at Winthrop are incredibly welcoming, which made it easy to meet new people and make friends. Additionally, Winthrop's faculty are just as welcoming as the students. I am confident that if I need support in one of my classes, I can attend my professor's office hours and receive the help I need. Overall, I have always felt welcome and supported at Winthrop.
My favorite spots in Rock Hill are…
One of my favorite spots in Rock Hill is Kounter, a restaurant named after a sit-in that took place in 1961. They have great food and a museum that outlines the history of the sit-in that took place. Another spot I love to go in Rock Hill is Glencairn Garden because it is a great place to spend time with friends and get some fresh air.
