I wanted to be able to have close relationships with both classmates and faculty, which isn't as easy at larger schools. Winthrop has the opportunities of a larger school with the relationships of a smaller one.

The process of rehearsing and performing in the play Bereavement Leave during my first semester.
My favorite spots in Rock Hill are…
Winthrop Lake, near the Colliseum, and Cherry Park. Both are great areas for running!
My favorite Winthrop tradition...
Hosting All-State choir each year. Having attended as a high schooler for 3 years, being a student as rehearsals and performances take place is just as rewarding. Seeing so many students experience such beautiful music just as I did is phenomenal.
