I chose Winthrop because of the diversity of people and ideas. It has allowed me to find people that I easily connect with, but also meet new people who bring new perspectives I may not have encountered before.
My most memorable Winthrop experience…
Hosting and performing in a charity drag show through Winthrop Students for Justice (a campus organization that I'm now the vice-president of). We were able to raise hundreds of dollars for the Palestinian Children's Hunger Relief Fund.
