Family day is my favorite Winthrop tradition because it gives everyone's families an excuse to come see our beautiful campus and where their student spends their time. Family day also has many fun activities such as planting flowers, rock wall climbing, and pumpkin painting.

of the low student teacher ratio, research opportunities, historic campus, and the size of the university.
My most memorable Winthrop experience…
the great snow of 2026, bringing everyone together on campus green for snowball fights, soup dinner invites, and fun sled rides down the hills.
