My favorite spots in Rock Hill are the Fountain Park, Flora Coffee, Rock Hill Coffee Company, and of course Burgers and Barley right across the street from campus!
I chose Winthrop because…
I chose Winthrop because the campus is close enough to Fort Mill to still allow me to live at home, but far enough to encourage me to get involved on campus and manage my time to reduce traveling back and forth multiple times a day.
My most memorable Winthrop experience…
My most memorable Winthrop experience so far has been the annual Homecoming Tailgates and Reunions. These experiences are a great way to connect with alumni of Winthrop and hear their stories, all while hanging out with some of your closest friends!
My favorite Winthrop tradition...
My favorite Winthrop tradition has to be the Blue Line and Convocation ceremonies. As a first-year student on this campus, these are great additions to Welcome Week while honoring our past and history. Students are able to get to know one another on a deeper level while getting their first introductions to some of our many student organizations on campus!
