My favorite Winthrop tradition is the Blue Line. This is when you exit convocation, and the experience is amazing. Everyone is cheering and welcoming you to college, and you begin to find your place with all of the organizations on campus tabling and showing you what they have to offer.
My most memorable Winthrop experience…
My most memorable experience from Winthrop so far has to be winning the Big South championship in Rocket League.
I chose Winthrop because…
I chose Winthrop because of the location, size, and community. I wanted to feel included, not just a number in the classroom. The smaller campus makes it feel like home, and you can find familiar faces wherever you are. The campus is easily walkable, and everyone is approachable. Charlotte is a big city with sports, concerts, and events just a short drive away. It creates a great balance between a community-focused town and a bigger city.

My favorite spots include Dank Burrito, Knowledge Perk, Empire Pizza, White Street Station, Glencairn Garden, and the movie theater.
