I chose Winthrop because…
When I was in 6th grade, I got to tour the campus with my AVID class and immediately knew that Winthrop was the University I wanted to go to. When I finally did my last tour my senior year, the ambassador told me that Winthrop was the place for me!
My most memorable Winthrop experience…
On a random Tuesday, My friends and I decided that we needed a break from school. We went on scholars and talked for hours about how college is and how we are maintaining. This is was memorable for me because we were able to pause everything just for a check under the stars on scholars walk.
My favorite Winthrop tradition...
Has to be Rat Week. Even though it isn’t an active tradition, I live hearing about it. It was when freshman would wear “rat caps” and do things on camps!
My favorite spots in Rock Hill are…
MADO, it’s an amazing french bakery! It has the best pastries and I recommend a caramel macchiato! The Farewell Park as well! It’s so calm to walk around with friends when you need a break from campus.
